Low Tide Dinghy 2006 Reworked Pastel Painting

"Low Tide Dinghy 2006"
Soft pastel on Wallis Belgian Mist 8.5 x 8.5"

I'm doing some studio cleaning and changing some of my on-line presence for 2018. My art making has been in the back seat a bit for the past couple of years due to a number of reasons. But I'm excited about the changes and am looking forward to getting back to (almost) daily painting.

Many of you know that I left my Provincetown gallery a year ago. I'm very happy about that. This past summer, I showed my work at the Red Inn and at my little shop, Northern Lights Hammocks.
I imagine that will again be the case for the next summer season.

I have left Daily Painters online gallery. I'm grateful to Micah and all the other daily painters for 10 fine years of being a part of the daily painters gallery. Trying to create a small painting a day improved my work tremendously. And I highly recommend it to any new, aspiring painters!

I'm staying with Daily Paint Works and will be continuing to sell older pieces, studies and sketches at very affordable prices through their auction and my online gallery there. Look for pieces like the one above. Low Tide Dinghy was started in 2006 but never finished until yesterday. Some serious portfolio cleaning is in store from now until the end of the year!

I'm getting my new FASO website ready to launch in just a few days. There you will find my larger pieces and gallery work.

I'm in Gulfport, Florida for winters now so expect to see some tropical vegetation and some hotter colors in my work during the winter months. Perhaps some sky view pieces painted from my hammock!
