Ruby Sailboat 2017 Pastel Painting by Poucher

"Ruby 2017"
11x14" soft pastel on UArt 400 paper

So, I guess it's already time to start making some art for this summer in Provincetown. Ruby is my favorite sailboat to pastel in Ptown harbor. Hope she will be back again this summer. Thinking about doing a series of red boats as people have been asking for them. Not sure where I will hang them perhaps at the Hammock Shop. We'll see.

Dancing Palms Florida Coastal Art by Poucher

"Dancing Palms"
Soft pastel on Wallis 9 x 4.5"

Painted these curvy palms while camping out at Fort DeSoto. They were just waiting for a hammock! This little study will be available tomorrow through the auction at Daily Paintworks.

Sky Vue Sketch from Hammock

"Sky Vue 1"
Soft pastel on Wallis 5x5"

View from my Ticket to the Moon Hammock at Hammock Con 2017, a hammock "convention" at Doe Lake, Ocala National Forest in Florida. I brought my 60 half stick set of Great American pastels along with some small scraps of Wallis paper. My art supplies along with my hammock weighed in at less than 2 pounds. Planning many sky studies in the near future!
